Most of us remember our first bicycle ride. How nervous we were about going "too fast" that we went so slow and made it difficult to maintain balance. It was counter intuitive, faster meant better balance but we had a voice (inside us, or an adult watching) telling us to "slow down" so we don't crash. A full stop meant putting both feet down, and starting over was a lot more challenging. Years later, and the same lesson still holds true; we need to keep moving forward so we don't fall down.
