Imagine hiding in a "secret annex" in the attic for 2 years and documenting your experience in a diary. That's exactly what Annelies Marie Frank, or more commonly known as Anne Frank, did during WWII as she and her Family hid from the invading Germans. She was only 15 yrs old when they were arrested in 1944 and brought to concentration camps. Her Father, Otto, was the only one who survived. When he returnd to where they hid, he found out that his secretaries found and kept Anne's diary. Otto, honoring his Daughter's wishes to become an author, published her diary in 1947 and was translated from Dutch to English to what is now famously known as "The Diary of a Young Girl" which has since been translated into over 70 languages.
